JOB DESCRIPTION
WHV Espanola S.A. seeks a Manager, Anti-Piracy Operations, Spain for the Spain - Anti-Piracy Int. Ops department.

Position is main point of contact for all anti-piracy activity in Spain. Represents WB and NBCU at relevant working groups of local MPA Anti-Piracy Organizations. Coordinates enforcement efforts such as raiding activity and related PR campaigns through local MPA Anti-Piracy Organizations. Keeps abreast of relevant Spanish anti-piracy research, PR efforts, public policy and legal developments and disseminates relevant information to relevant WB and NBCU personnel. Tracks Spanish pirate market trends and flags any significant developments to WB London-based Manager of Internet Operations and NBCU personnel. Maintains or provides input to databases of Spanish piracy and anti-piracy activity. Provides support for local industry initiatives (e.g., IP Awareness Trust). Periodically purchases pirated copies of WB and NBCU titles and sends back to relevant studio for forensic analysis. Works with WB London-based SVP, European Anti-Piracy Operations, London-based European Anti-Piracy Counsel, NBCU regional personnel and local MDs to quickly process appropriate responses to illegal/unauthorized pirate activity, both on the Internet or involving physical goods. Hires and manages the local outside Internet anti-piracy search firm/s responsible for monitoring the Internet and searching for pirate copies of WB and NBCU movies on P2P networks, ftp servers, portal sites, auction sites etc. Works with the local outside Internet anti-piracy search firm/s on the monitoring of Spanish chat rooms and on the searching/analyzing of other potential pirate links for WB and NBCU product. Manages and reports on the tracking of the effectiveness of all WB and/or NBCU Internet anti-piracy activities. Coordinates responses, including Cease and Desist letters (C&D’s), with WB London-based SVP, European Anti-Piracy Operations and London-based European Anti-Piracy Counsel, NBCU regional personnel, NBCU US-based Anti-Piracy team and local counsel. Liaises with local ISPs to ensure compliance with C&Ds and implements technologies to streamline notification process (e.g. ACNS).

REQUIREMENTS
A BA/BS degree (equivalent) is required (business or technology focus preferred). A masters degree not required, but preferred. Advanced knowledge of Internet protocols and/or IT systems preferred. Understanding of local law enforcement and optical disc piracy problem required. Software skills required: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. English and Spanish language fluency required. Full time work experience of at least 4 years preferred. Entertainment or related industry experience a plus. Management consulting or operations experience a plus. Must have excellent communication skills. Must have excellent analytical skills. Must have ability to collaborate in a close team atmosphere. Must have ability to work independently. Knowledge of information management systems such as E-Rooms is helpful.
